Both Tracey and I are very new when it comes to “running a business”. We never thought in our wildest dreams that we would end up in the industry we are in… and loving it as much as we do. We sort of just fell into it as a way of keeping the spirit of my father alive.

I have appointed myself as the writer of the company just because I love writing and it a good way of getting out of doing to the books (Tracey’s task). Since we started the business I have been trying to get our story and our business in the press. I have emailed every news paper, magazine and tv show you can throw a stick at and I never get a response. However I have persevered and finally recieved a call from a national magazine editor yesterday to say that they are going to feature us in their mag. We are so excited that more people around Australia will be able to read about our bears so that hopefully we can reach more families that can benefit from “holding” their loved ones in their arms again.

I have not devolged the name of the magazine as I’m not sure whether I’m allowed to until its been published, but as soon as I can I will let you all know so that you can have a sticky beak at our story.
